About
Together we will work to achieve a sense of well-being and stabilization. Your current experience may be a response to the impact of the pandemic, build up of general stress, or sense of inability to cope. Treatable concerns include mood and relational difficulty, family dynamics, trauma, grief, poor relationship with food, low self-worth, self-injury, depression, anxiety, and compulsions. We are all worthy of self-love and fulfillment, but may have been hindered in some way in our lives to believe this to be true. If your path feels dark I am the flashlight that offers guidance, clarity, and support as you find your way through.
Sessions may include explorative art making (even via Telehealth) while other sessions can consist of mindfulness, grounding, CBT/DBT skills, EMDR, or verbal processing. I am proficient in teaching adaptive coping strategies, calming skills, psycho-education, self-esteem building, and the safe exploration of unresolved hurts.
I have been working in the field for over 14 years with a variety of populations (adult & children) and settings. I am a Trauma Informed Expressive Arts Therapist fully trained in EMDR. At my practice we can also offer psychological testing or services to family members with our Licensed Clinical Psychologist and Independently Licensed Social Worker.
