Finding the right therapist to assist you can be an exhausting process and can deter people from pursuing counseling. A key part of my clinical practice is to build rapport with my clients to assist them with feeling comfortable sharing what can be painful topics and issues. I believe that the therapeutic relationship is one of the most influential factors in assisting individuals to be successful in therapy and reach their goals. I especially enjoy working with the LGBTQIA2S+ community as I identify as an LGBTQIA2S+ individual myself.
I have over 16 years of experience as a clinician and consider myself a liberation-focused therapist. I utilize a combination of several therapeutic orientations including systems theory, IFS-informed, queer/feminist theory, person-centered, CBT, DBT, trauma-focused, somatic-based, and mindfulness-based techniques. I also provide CBT for insomnia (CBT-I).
I offer virtual clinical supervision services towards licensure at $130/supervision hour. This service will be offered to LCSW and LPC candidates anywhere in Colorado, with consideration for other disciplines as well. I am passionate about helping to grow the next generation of clinicians to be affirming, well-informed, and compassionate providers.
