Many people worry that therapy will mean endlessly rehashing the hardest feelings, and that can make it hard to want to come. My approach is different; I aim for a balance of healing and growth. I often work with individuals and couples leading full, busy lives and I help them navigate what feels heavy, while also building on their natural strengths and finding tools that actually fit their world. My hope is that you leave each session feeling supported, connected, and equipped to make meaningful change that matters to you.
I specialize in sex and intimacy therapy, trauma therapy, perinatal mental health therapy, couples/relationship support, life transition, and women's issues. I am a certified sex therapist, perinatal mental health certified, and offer EMDR, IFS, Gottman, CBT and other evidence based perspectives. I see adult women and couples and men on a case by case basis.
My hope is that everyone who comes into my office (or meets over telehealth) is met with warmth and freedom to better understand their emotions, needs and desires without fear of judgment. I consider my room a sacred and safe place where truly anything can be said and then explored in a way that is honoring, promotes healing and true, lasting change.
