I am here to do that & to let you know that you are not alone in your journey. I recognize that the counseling process can be intimidating & requires quite a bit of vulnerability. I do my best to make sure that clients feel comfortable & empowered through this process. I strive to make our time together collaborative, efficient, & believe it or not, even a little fun!
I believe there is no “one fits all” approach when it comes to therapy, as we are all wired differently. Therefore, I like to tailor my therapeutic approach to meet the needs of the client. I can also provide a Christian faith-based perspective to those interested in incorporating this into their sessions.
Some approaches that I draw from include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Attachment Based, Interpersonal Psychotherapy, Trauma Informed, & Person-Centered. I am also certified in the Neurosequential Model of Therapeutics, Phase 1. I currently participate with Highmark insurance.
