As a seasoned therapist, I believe that people are doing the best they can to manage life's challenges with the resources and skills they have available. When things are out of balance, therapy can help on both sides of the equation - reducing challenges and stressors, as well as improving coping skills and strategies to manage them more effectively. I use a variety of mindfullness based therapies in my practice that all offer clients the opportunity to learn skills to better manage whatever symptoms or problems bring them to therapy.
I enjoy working with adults who are dealing with challenges to their physical and emotional health including chronic pain/illness, aging-related concerns and other life transitions, as well as general mental health. As I am also a yoga and meditation teacher, I employ an integrative mind-body-spirit approach grounded in mindfullness and focused on wellness.
I offer a safe and compassionate space to explore your challenges and to be supported as you learn and practice more effective ways of managing them.
