I provide a compassionate and safe environment to a broad range of individuals. As a therapist, I engender personal growth through authentic reflection and exploration of life meaning, with the goal of understanding wounds from your past and creating more fulfilling relationships. This process will help you understand difficult emotions and behavioral patterns while providing relief from the pain in your life. I also provide therapeutic services to couples as all relationships face transitions, disconnection, and times of crisis. I work with couples to increase communication, sexual intimacy, and to deepen emotional expression.

My approach is depth-oriented, I use a blend of humanistic, psychoanalytic, existential, and cognitive therapies, while being open to each client's therapeutic needs. My goal is to help you become more aware of how wounds from your past contribute to behavioral patterns that may be stalling development.

I also teach full time at Seattle University specializing in courses dedicated to growth and development, abnormal psychology, psychology writing, and research methods. As part of my academic role I have conducted extensive research on the topics of intimacy, closeness, and the experience of mental health stigma.
