To mindfully awaken is to become conscious in the here and now while integrating all of our experiences before this moment in time. This practice of living courageously, authentically, with non-judgmental awareness, while embracing our worthiness, helps us live a fuller life. Specializing in somatic psychotherapy with adults, my approach is influenced by Somatic Experiencing®, attachment theory, mindfulness-based therapies, EMDR, CBT, and the research of Brené Brown. I use a body-awareness approach to guide clients in accessing their innate capacity towards self-regulation & healing.
I am a Somatic Experiencing® Practitioner, Certified Therapist in EMDR, Certified Daring Way & Rising Strong Facilitator and provide Clinical Case Consultation & Supervision to mental health professionals. Areas of Interest: Shame Resilience; Relational, Developmental & Shock Trauma; PTSD; Life Transitions; Enhancing Relationships; Anxiety, Depression, Grief & Loss; Perinatal Mood Disorders; LGBTQ Issues.
Together we can expand upon your strengths and skills, while helping you integrate your past into a life that can be lived more fully, mindfully & authentically. I offer Daring Way and Rising Strong groups to help adults "Show Up, Be Seen, Live Brave" in their personal and professional lives.
