(MY PRACTICE IS CURRENTLY FULL) To mindfully awaken is to become conscious in the here and now while integrating all of our experiences before this moment in time. This practice of living courageously, authentically, with non-judgmental awareness, while embracing our worthiness, helps us live a fuller life. Specializing in somatic psychotherapy with adults, my approach is influenced by Somatic Experiencing®, attachment theory, mindfulness-based therapies, EMDR, CBT, and the research of Brené Brown. I use a body-awareness approach to guide clients in accessing their innate capacity towards self-regulation & healing.
I am a Somatic Experiencing® Practitioner, Certified Therapist in EMDR, Certified Daring Way & Rising Strong Facilitator and provide Clinical Case Consultation & Supervision to mental health professionals. Areas of Interest: Shame Resilience; Relational, Developmental & Shock Trauma; PTSD; Life Transitions; Enhancing Relationships; Anxiety, Depression, Grief & Loss; Perinatal Mood Disorders; LGBTQ Issues.
Together we can expand upon your strengths and skills, while helping you integrate your past into a life that can be lived more fully, mindfully & authentically. I offer Daring Way and Rising Strong groups to help adults "Show Up, Be Seen, Live Brave" in their personal and professional lives.
