About
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, providing counseling services for individuals, couples, children, and families. My goal is to help people feel more empowered to handle life's issues. Working together, we will develop a treatment plan to overcome whatever obstacle you have encountered. Whether you are dealing with depression, anxiety, family conflict, low self-esteem, or relationship issues, I would appreciate the opportunity to help. My therapeutic areas of interest are working with couples and adolescents. When working with couples, I focus on communication, conflict resolution, parenting, rebuilding trust, and intimacy. I believe having a strong relationship is the foundation for a happy family. Specific issues I focus on with adolescents are self-esteem, anxiety, bullying, depression, and self-injury.
In addition to individual and family therapy, I also offer Parenting Groups and Adolescent and Teen Groups. Parenting Groups are based on the STEP Principles (Systematic Training for Effective Parenting). Adolescent and Teen Groups focus on managing emotions, bullying, self-esteem, and self-injury behavior.
