I am person-centered and trauma-informed (EMDR) in my approach. I believe that you have areas of life that are going well and strengths you can utilize to help you address your current reason for seeking counseling. My main areas of focus are anxiety, depression, trauma, and maintaining recovery. I tend to relate with empathy, humor, straightforward communication, and kindness. People I have worked with in the past have often stated that they felt understood. I was able to help them find ways to express their experiences and feelings to themselves or another person.
