Announcement icon I am not currently accepting new clients. Please feel free to check back with me from time to time, as my availability can change.
I have a belief that guides my approach in helping others: "We have to learn to live life on life's terms". Life gives us all kinds of experiences, hardships, but also successes, all of which make up how a person thinks, manages feelings, and relates to the world now. I believe that mental health symptoms and issues are a byproduct of how people try to make sense of or cope with what they have experienced, or are experiencing, on their own - and with the "tools" they have and how to use them. People intuitively know when they are not living their best life (on life's terms) and they seek help when new skills and "tools" are needed.
I see myself as someone "walking" alongside you as we figure out how to make your unique needs and situation better. As a professional experienced in anxiety, OCD, and trauma/PTSD/C-PTSD, as well as other mental health needs, I am here to give helpful suggestions in this process based on my experience, education, and training.
I invite you to come and show me how we can work together to help you. I use mainly cognitive behavior therapy and trauma-focused interventions, but also human-centered and strengths-based approaches to remind you of the skills and strengths already within you - we're just building on them!
