Your first session is a chance for us to get to know each other in a safe, welcoming space. We’ll talk about what brings you to therapy, possibly go over your answers from the intake form, explore your goals, and begin to build a connection rooted in trust and understanding.
One of my greatest strengths is my ability to build rapport and a trusting relationship with youth and young adults. I understand that without that, a client is unable to be fully truthful about their feelings and emotions.
