I work from a relational, trauma-informed perspective that values every individual’s innate wisdom and capacity for growth. I strive to create a nonjudgmental environment that allows you to safely unfold and explore. Together we will work towards better understanding the experiences that formed you and releasing that which no longer serves you. I will support you to discover a sense of possibility while honoring your authentic self.
I believe that quality, evidenced based therapy should be accessible to all people. I provide individualized, trauma-informed treatment to people of all backgrounds and abilities. I specialize in working with neurodivergent people, people with cognitive or physical disabilities and their family members/care-givers.
I have spent the last three decades working in community mental health settings and approach my work from a strengths-based, anti-oppressive framework. I am trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR)
