About

Everyday I meet with individuals and couples who are in the process of confronting worry, depression, conflict and dissatisfaction to find greater joy, peace and meaning in their lives. If and when you decide to take a first step into therapy, I think you will find me to be an insightful, responsive and non-judgmental individual with an extensive therapeutic "tool kit." My approach is interactive and person-centered. Together we will engage in a process of deepening your understanding of the feelings and views motivating your actions, which can then lead to more effective and skillful ways of living.
I have over 30 years of professional experience and can provide problem-focused therapy for specific issues or longer-term depth work for more complex symptoms related to abuse or trauma. My 23 year background in mindfulness and compassion-based meditation practices also influences my approach.
My office is fully handicapped accessible and close to public transportation. There is convenient street parking as well as a small parking lot. I would be happy to receive your e-mail or phone call.
