Hey there! Thanks for stopping by. I work with adult clients who have OCD, anxiety, depression, relationship problems, low self-esteem, ADHD, ASD and phobias. I provide gender affirming care and help clients who are considering or are within the transition process, in addition to anyone in the LGBTQ+ community. My office is a safe place for everyone, and I often use humor alongside evidence-based practices to tailor treatment to each individual- there's no "one size fits all" plan. I teach clients communication skills, emotion regulation, distress tolerance, cognitive restructuring, and more.
I specialize in treating obsessive compulsive disorder using exposure response prevention (ERP), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), or a mix of both on a case-by-case basis. I use systematic desensitization for phobia treatment. I draw primarily from CBT, DBT, ACT, Rogerian and Jungian approaches for non-OCD/phobic clients.
I know seeking out therapy can be daunting, I've been there as well. In my office, there's no pressure. You're in the driver's seat, and I'm here to provide empathy and a non-judgmental space for you, along with practical tools and skills. Feel free to reach out with questions, to schedule, or for a free phone consult to see if we're a good fit!
