Hi, I'm Kat Boman (she/her) and I'm a social worker in KS and MO. I completed my Masters of Social Work at the UMKC in 2016 and have worked in multiple settings including child welfare, medical social work, and outpatient therapy. Currently I do full-model DBT, CBT, and provide gender affirming care. I enjoy working with people who experience anxiety, depression, or are exploring identity.
I consider myself a generalist and enjoy working with people of all backgrounds. I have training in DBT, transgender health, and CBT. My goal is to create a judgement-free space where you can explore, have tough conversations, cry together and probably even laugh together. I work with teens and adults.
