My practice is grounded in the belief that we heal through attuned relationship. I hold the therapeutic alliance in high regard and value co-creating space for exploration with clients. Depending on what you bring to our sessions, attachment-based, existential, psychodynamic, or interpersonal techniques may be incorporated.
I recognize that many of the challenges we face in today's world extend beyond us as individuals. Identifying the impact of social, cultural, and economic structures on our mental health is an essential piece of well-rounded therapy. Conversations about the stress perpetuated by systems of capitalism are welcome.
As a queer therapist, I have particular interest in and dedication to working with members of the LGBTQIA+ community. Speaking with someone who is able to listen through the lens of lived experience can be an asset to the process. However, all who resonate with my approach are encouraged to reach out regardless of identity.
