The word therapy can often evoke feelings of uncertainty. My goal is not to change individuals but to empower individuals to find their strengths, communicate their experiences, and construct lives filled with hope and satisfaction. After all, counseling isn’t an end but a journey for the counselor and the client.

As a former teacher, I have worked with many children and adolescents. I have seen the hurt and struggle that many carry with them and knew I wanted to be able to do something more. In pursuing my dreams to become a counselor, I hope to be able to provide a safe, non-judgemental space for all to explore, learn, and grow.

I am married with 3 children. As a family, we love to spend time exploring the world around us and experiencing new things. Diverse relationships and unique life experiences have allowed me to more effectively relate and help clients through their personalized counseling journey.
