My clients are adults navigating with stress, anxiety, depression, life changes, career issues, relationship problems, maternal mental health struggles, and BIPOC concerns. As a BIPOC woman, I am also focused on culturally competent care for those I serve. While committed to making the therapeutic environment a calm and safe space, I also believe in holistic health and mindfulness-based practices.
My methods are collaborative, client-centered, and solution-focused. Using a variety of therapeutic approaches, I encourage clients' self-awareness, growth, and change throughout the healing process. I am also trained in EMDR, an evidence-based practice focusing on trauma work.
I believe in comprehensive treatment, shown through my overall focus on holistic health. Working through the lens that the combination of Eastern and Western philosophies can have a profound healing impact, I often refer clients to connections in the community who offer yoga, meditation, workshops, massages, reiki, and other wellness related offerings.
