I have over twenty-five years of clinical social work experience in hospital, outpatient and community settings. My specialties include helping teens, young adults and families with the challenging transition from adolescence to adulthood. The focus of our work is to help you go from dependence to greater self-efficacy.
I create a space of safety, security and comfort where sensitive narratives can be shared and explored. Together, we will work to practice strength- based from a non-judgmental place for positive change. Clients practice skills in sessions and out in the world to build confidence.
My approach is individualized and I use various treatment models to guide our collaboration. We will consider demographics, your medical and mental health history as well as social, educational, and cultural backgrounds when creating a plan for living a meaningful life.
I spent twelve years at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. For the last 14 years, I have been in private practice where I continue to provide quality care to young people, couples and families.

A psychoeducational support group for youth dealing with the physical and psychological effects of traumatic events. Uses mindfulness, cognitive reframing, exposure, and writing and sharing a trauma narrative to promote healing.

Living Well With Chronic Illness
