I believe psychotherapy is a mutual journey between the therapist and the client. Though the waters can be rough, the adventure can be exciting and rewarding. In addition to private practice I spent years in community work as a nurse and clinical social worker. I have worked with Addiction,Womens issues (adolescent to adults), LGBTQA and AIDS/HIV. I have been trained in postmodern practices, cognitive therapy, mindfulness and feminist therapy. I treat individuals and couples and families.
I work in a collective practice where psychiatry is also available and part of our team work. I also supervise interns who are available on a sliding scale. I am available for supervision and community training.
