Coming from a strengths-based perspective, Karri uses an eclectic mix of cognitive behavioral therapy, solution-focused brief therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing and positive psychology to help people learn how to live their best lives and become the people they always were meant to be.
As an addictions counselor, Karri can help people find their way out of the quagmire of substance use disorders into a life of recovery. She believes that by faithfully attending 12-step recovery programs, building one’s self-esteem and working to create relapse prevention plans, one can throw off the shackles of substance use disorders.
