If you're seeing this description I want to say that I am glad that you're interested in therapy. It can be difficult to look into your healing journey and address trauma. As a therapist, I focus on the journey of healing from childhood to adulthood. I come from a trauma-focused lens and foster an unconditional positive regard while also helping you increase self-awareness and self-reflection. Even if you feel doubtful about therapy, I am glad to consult with you to talk about goals for your life.
I have experience in treating substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health, in a residential treatment setting. I treat adults, and have extensive experience and knowledge in trauma-focused modalities such as Accelerated Resolution Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Processing Therapy, Internal Family Systems, and Schema Therapy.
I am especially interested in treating those battling grief and loss, first-responder related traumas, childhood trauma, domestic violence, sexual assault, mood disorders, and post-traumatic symptomology.
