Childhood and adolescence are times of growth, self-discovery, and learning where we belong in the world. During these important stages of life, young people are developing their identities, finding their voices, and learning how to navigate emotions and relationships. Along the way, it can be challenging to express feelings and feel truly understood or heard by others. As a Licensed Professional Counselor, my goal is to create an environment where young people feel comfortable expressing their thoughts, emotions, and experiences without fear of judgment.
I have experience working with children and adolescents in Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) settings, supporting youth facing a variety of challenges, including anxiety, low self-esteem, behavioral concerns, depression, trauma, and parent-child conflict.
I utilize evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and person-centered therapy. For many children and adolescents, therapy can feel unfamiliar but it can also be a valuable part of their growth and development. I look forward to supporting each child and their family throughout this journey!
