As a counselor, I believe everyone has strengths and can learn to see their human worth. I believe counseling is a process to help you address your concerns, come to a greater understanding of yourself, learn effective personal/interpersonal coping strategies, and develop balance in life. Often, we are not taught how to manage difficult emotions and heal from life events. I hope to develop a relationship with you to offer guidance and support to you along your journey of self-awareness, self-compassion, developing balance, healing, and living a more fulfilling life. I tend to take a strength based and person-centered approach.
I am trained in mindfulness, EMDR, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. In my 12+ years of experience, I have worked in residential crisis (adults) and outpatient counseling with adolescence (16 and older) and adults.
We all are capable of positive change, seeing our worth, and developing connection. Please call or e-mail me to discuss your therapeutic needs and how I can be part of your journey. I look forward to hear from you! Email will be a faster response than leaving a voicemail.
