As a bereaved mother and a trained therapist, I have deep personal, as well as clinical, understanding of the difficult issues facing those grieving the deaths of loved ones. I can help you find your path toward wholeness on this dark, but sometimes beautiful, journey through grief. I've done graduate and post-graduate work in counseling through death, dying, and bereavement, worked with hospices, led groups with traumatized and bereaved people--parents, spouses, and siblings--of all ages. Your journey is unique, but know that you are not alone.
Supportive, person-centered counseling with me can include mindfulness/meditation, yoga-informed movement, introspective work, hypnosis and trance work, guided deep relaxation and visualization, ´╗┐writing, journaling, chakra and energy work, tarot, mandala, and many forms of expression and exploration of self. I'm also an award winning author of three books.
Using creative and expressive techniques helped me find my way through the darkest of places. I'll support your growth and learning on this journey in the same ways. You need an empathetic, nonjudgmental, compassionate presence to hold the space for you as you find your way; this is what I offer. Email or give me a call. It's the first step toward wholeness.
