I am passionate about childhood mental health as I believe intervening early will help your child meet their full potential and grow up to be an emotionally healthy, confident adult. The parent-child relationship is vital, so I aim to include you, the caregiver, as much as is possible and appropriate during treatment. I would love to help you and your child connect in more positive ways through play, as well as support your child learn positive coping skills to support challenging behaviors and big feelings.
My work is primarily with children who have behavioral challenges, trauma history, depression, anxiety, or who struggle in school or social settings. I also work with parents who struggle to connect with their children. I believe caregivers are vital to the child's success.
My goal is to be a calming presence for you and your child in order to create a safe space where your child can feel comfortable working through difficult emotions. I am curious to learn more about my clients and enjoy asking questions to facilitate reflection about their experiences.
