Hi, and welcome! I have experience in outpatient treatment of substance use disorders as well as addressing concerns such as depression, trauma, and anxiety in adults. I have a passion for supporting recovery through employment, and have experience guiding individuals with severe and chronic mental health diagnoses such as Schizophrenia and Bipolar Disorder towards gainful employment as part of their recovery journey, by utilizing career counseling principles.
I use a strengths-based approach to client care, and believe in collaborating with my clients towards success. I believe that the most important facet of treatment is the relationship between therapist and client with the goal of creating a non-judgemental, safe space for clients to feel heard and validated.
I want my clients to feel comfortable to be their authentic selves, and to achieve this I will always be my authentic self as well. I believe that the ability to find humor in life is essential to working through everyday stressors and finding moments of joy. My goal is for my clients to discover hope that growth and fulfillment is possible.
