I am a Licensed Clinical Psychologist. I obtained my doctorate in clinical psychology in 2000 from the California School of Professional Psychology, San Diego (CSPP). I received my Bachelor of Arts in 1992 from the University of Southern California (USC). My clinical experience includes 6 years working at the University of California at San Diego (UCSD) Outpatient Psychiatry Clinic. I specialize in working with individuals struggling with depression, anxiety, relationship issues and career-related problems.
My approach to therapy is an empathic, cognitive-behavioral one. I view therapy as a collaborative process, with the therapist and client working together to increase self-understanding, learn new ways of coping with difficult feelings and situations, and explore and change life patterns to lead a happier, healthier life.
