Prolonged stress and trauma from things like homophobia, racism, ageism, sizeism, ableism, social and political unrest, the Covid pandemic, or the loss of freedoms can greatly impact our mental and physical health. Anxiety, depression, or trauma symptoms may be showing up as a way to say “hey... I’m not okay right now. I need to talk about this.”
I am here to listen and help you navigate tough situations like these. I can also help you cope more effectively with personal stressors or losses. My background in both mental health and medical social work helps me tailor my approach to your needs. I have experience in a variety of settings, including outpatient clinics, hospitals, and community agencies.
