Karie Peel is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 20 years of experience with a background in trauma, serious mental illness, and substance abuse. I have assisted clients with various clinical needs, such as relational stress, attachment issues, anxiety, depression, trauma, severe mental illness, substance use, psychological distress related to chronic medical illness, and personality disorders. I have experience working with adults of various ages.
I believe that everyone has within themselves the key to healing. I believe in working with my clients to discover that key through self-compassion, emotional expression as well as learning and developing successful coping skills to deal with life stressors.
I love seeing people heal and overcome the trauma they have experienced. I feel honored to be a part of the growth process. I ask the client for their goals in therapy, and we create a plan to successfully meet those goals.
