Life is pretty good about throwing us curve balls. Sometimes, these curve balls can be devastating. They can impact our daily lives, our relationships, how we feel about ourselves and the world around us. My goal is to help people work through challenging events in their life and make the changes that are important to them. I have enjoyed working as a Counselor for over 10yrs and have worked with people from many different backgrounds and cultures. During this time, I have had experience working with children, adolescents, families and couples.
A lot of my practice has been focused on trauma and relationships. I have utilized Trauma based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Relationship Counseling to help create a supportive environment in order to help make those changes.
I understand that reaching out to a stranger in order to talk about sensitive topics is hard. My hope is that there is comfort in knowing that that person is willing to listen, be unbiased, agenda-free and wants to see you find peace and joy in your life.
