I've been a licensed therapist for 35 years and received my Masters of Social Work from California State University, Sacramento but consider myself a true Oregonian, living in the Willamette Valley since 1995.
During my time as a social worker, I have worked with adolescents, adults and older adults. I employ a behavioral approach alongside an appreciation for the importance of meeting each individual where they are at on their journey. I have a young mind with an insatiable appetite for learning how to best care for others.
Because I have lived experience caring for family members with mental health concerns and has supported my mother through the ageing process, cognitive decline, and an eventual journey through hospice, I have a unique appreciation for the challenges of caregiving across the life cycle.
