Hello. With 30 years of experience, I have found creating a safe space and a trusting empathic relationship is key. If you are looking to be heard, validated, accepted, challenged to grow and be empowered I will be a good fit for you. In counseling, you will learn practical solutions for growth and change. You will get an opportunity to learn about yourself, and learn how to manage your emotions, thoughts, and behaviors.so that you can reach your goals and create meaningful/vibrant relationships. I work with individuals, couples, families, and adolescents, ages 14 and up.
I am passionate about building meaningful vibrant healthy relationships. I specialize in treating anxiety, depression and other mood disorders. I also help people explore their alcohol and substance misuse, using moderation, harm reduction, or abstinence counseling.
I use an evidence-based integrative treatment approach, based on cognitive-behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). I am a Listener, Relationship Guide, Purpose Identifier, Coach, Encourager, and Flashlight Holder. I look forward to talking to you or meeting you soon.
