Welcome. I have over 20 years experience providing individual, family, and group therapy to clients of most ages. I work with individuals presenting with a variety of concerns, including Eating Disorders, OCD, low self-esteem, anxiety, and depression. I also work with individuals who are interested in counseling for self-growth. I practice from a narrative therapy lens which holds that the person is not the problem; the problem is the problem. Life can be full of struggles. I believe that we do the best we can under our circumstances. I enjoy working with clients to illuminate unique creative attributes, interests, and visions.

My practice is affirming and accepting. Many of us carry burdens of stories and belief systems. My job first and foremost is to witness your story and to help you disentangle from hurtful narratives. With families, I aim to facilitate communication, understanding, and support. I believe therapy can be a place to grow; to find yourself and your voice.

My second job (as you grow yourself) is to help with symptom reduction. With this, I use a variety of approaches, such as IFS, ACT, DBT, CBT. I continue to develop my skills as a counselor through personal research and training. Most importantly, I enjoy what I do!
