I have been a psychologist for 30 years. I have a very client centered and interactive, accepting approach. I have a large array of skills, including CBT, EMDR, and mindfulness to name a few. I work with depression, anxiety, eating disorders, trauma, couples issues and body focused repetitive behaviors.
I work to understand all variables associated with mental illness and I work to alleviate those variables. I believe that understanding oneself is important in recovery. I use the cultivation of skills in all instances. I believe that psychotherapy should be safe, warm and helpful.
