I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with more than 24 years of experience in behavioral health care working with children and adults. I have worked in both inpatient and outpatient settings, providing individual, family and group therapy through community mental health centers and in-home therapy. I have worked in other arenas, such as criminal detention, family court service provision, and an intensive outpatient program for dual diagnosis clients -those with a substance abuse and a type of mental health need. I hold a bachelor's degree from Furman University, a Master's degree from the Southern Baptist Theological Semina

I have specialized expertise in addressing family, couples, and parenting dynamics in relationships. I have specific experience in working with families in which there is a foster care or adoptive component.

My overall career experience has put me in functional roles as a minister, educator, social worker and counselor. I seek to use my experience and knowledge to assist others in living their best life and experience a sense of contentment.
