I enjoy working with children, adolescents, adults and families on a wide range of issues including anxiety, depression, self-esteem, loss, relationships, and family dynamics. My goal is to help people find greater satisfaction in themselves, their relationships, and their work. I believe that the increased self-knowledge and understanding gained through the collaborative psychotherapeutic process relieves symptoms, helps to deepen the capacity for intimacy, and promotes the strength, confidence, and skills necessary to lead a personally meaningful and productive life.
Trained in psychodynamic psychotherapy and psychoanalysis, I draw on a wide range of theoretical and clinical knowledge to offer confidential treatment for individuals, couples, and families, tailoring my approach to meet the specific needs of each client.
In working with parents and children, my goal is to reduce stress, improve communication, and increase pleasure in family relationships. I help parents to understand their children's developmental needs, and use an age-appropriate combination of play and talk therapy to help children work through their particular school, social, and/or family issues.
