Does your child struggle with learning? Do you think your child needs educational accommodations or supports? Evaluating children and adolescents, I work to develop a comfortable atmosphere where your children can be themselves and strive to do their best when completing testing. I do all of the testing myself. I value the time I spend listening, learning about your children, and watching how they problem-solve. I want to know more than just whether their answers are right or wrong, but how they went about reaching them. This helps me provide useful recommendations to help foster your child's overall development.
Common referrals are for children who are having learning challenges, either due to a possible learning disability, attention disorder, or a medical condition that may be contributing to their learning difficulties. I have a special interest and expertise in working with children who are deaf or hard of hearing and welcome all referrals.
The goal of all evaluations is to help you and those working with your child to better understand your child's strengths and weaknesses, to make any diagnoses (if appropriate), and to provide specific, individualized recommendations to foster your child's optimal cognitive, academic, and psychological functioning.
