You know your reactions don’t make sense. You’ve read the books and you recognize your patterns. You overthink, shut down, stay on high alert, or keep replaying what happened. Insight alone hasn’t changed those reactions and you’re still finding yourself stuck in the same patterns. I help adults who understand their patterns, but can’t change them on their own. Using EMDR therapy alongside Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Attachment-Based Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, and Strengths-Based approaches, I help clients understand why those patterns exist and process the experiences that continue to keep them stuck.
