Everyone goes through painful and difficult times. In my years of practice, I understand the common struggle of managing overwhelming emotions and runaway thoughts in the face of life’s challenges. I specialize in working with adults at every phase of life who are faced with a difficult chapter or change. This may be a death or loss, parenting and motherhood, a medical diagnosis, divorce, or relationship crisis. Often, the suffering relates to the intersection of past trauma and current stress. I can tell you with hopeful assurance that I can help.
I have Masters Degrees from MIT and Simmons University, in City Planning (my first act) and Clinical Social Work. I am a Certified Grief Educator and have advanced training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Mindfulness and Grief Counseling. I am trained in trauma informed care.
My therapy room is a safe and supportive space to be seen and heard, to find insight and understanding, and the skills to improve your life.
