I’m Karen Lenahan, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with 10 years of experience, specializing in helping individuals work through trauma, anxiety, depression, multicultural issues, and crises. My fascination with the complexities of the human mind and the emotions that shape our experiences led me to a career in therapy. My goal is to empower clients to build resilience, self-awareness, and hope on their healing journey, and I bring a relaxed, compassionate, and even humorous approach to our sessions.
I earned my Master’s in Clinical Psychology from Lesley University and tailor each treatment to meet individual needs, utilizing cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, reality therapy, positive psychology, motivational interviewing, and mindfulness-based techniques.
