Anxiety is a major obstacle that can get in our way of living the life we want. While a certain amount of anxiety is normal for all persons, those with excessive anxiety may find themselves experiencing constant worry, doubt, and self criticism. Depression, substance abuse and relationship problems often follow. However, these problems are manageable. But first you will need to understand your beliefs, your motivations, and behavior. I will work together with you to help you feel safe by learning to manage your thoughts, using evidence-based therapies which will help you develop insight into your situation.
My therapeutic approach is nonjudgmental and supportive, both in individual or couples therapy. While it is important to understand your background, it is essential to learn how to move forward in your life. Together we will work through the sequential steps that have resulted in your distress and that will bring you relief.
To help you learn more about my approach and how I can best help you, I provide an initial phone consultation at no charge. This way I can get a basic understanding of your needs and we can discuss how we might best be able to work together. Text or call me at 858-395-7121. I can also be reached through email at protonmail.com
