I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, a play therapist, and an LGBTQ+ Affirmative Therapist as well. I have a Master of Arts degree in Professional Counseling, from Amberton University, and also attended Abilene Christian University and New York University. I work with individuals, couples, families, and groups. I'm a Person-Centered Counselor who sees clients of all ages, starting as early as 3 years old.
I have worked with clients on the Autism Spectrum. I'm trained in EMDR to help clients suffering from PTSD, sexual abuse, and grief. And I have experience in affirmative therapy with transgender and gender non-conforming individuals, and those with issues regarding their sexual-orientation.
My goal is to strive to create an atmosphere of trust and acceptance so that clients can explore and define present problems, develop future goals for an improved life, and work in a systematic fashion toward realizing those goals.
