Being a parent can be enormously fulfilling, but can also be frustrating and overwhelming. As the mother of two children, I know firsthand that sometimes our kids can make it difficult to be the parent we always imagined we'd be. I work with parents to help them relate better to their unique child/teen, reduce challenging behavior, and build their child/teen's skills in frustration tolerance, flexibility, and problem-solving. I offer a radically different understanding of challenging kids and an effective, positive approach to parenting. I am a Certified Trainer in the Collaborative Problem Solving approach developed by Think:Kids, a program in Massachusetts General Hospital's Department of Psychiatry. CPS is an evidence-based approach effective with children/adolescents with ordinary challenging behavior and with more serious social, emotional and behavioral challenges.
I am passionate about the benefits of CPS and have taught it to over 1000 parents. Parent testimony: "I recommend CPS to any family.
