At Golden Paws Counseling Services PLLC, I provide trauma-informed interventions and neurodiversity-affirming support for children, adolescents, and adults. My practice includes virtual (for Texas residents), in-person, and experiential animal-assisted interventions to help with symptoms of anxiety, nervous system and emotional regulation, navigating changes and loss, and overcoming challenges and building resilience.
My approach is positive, collaborative, and maximizes time in sessions. Animal-assisted activities can foster trust; mitigate symptoms of stress, anxiety, and depression; and build confidence. Neurodivergent clients, (including those with symptoms of ADHD or autism) can learn and practice self-advocacy, setting boundaries, and developing social skills.
