Counseling athletes may involve identifying underlying clinical issues. It is not often a clinical issue is present. However, it is always assessed at the initial visit in addition to administering "The Nine Mental Skills Assessment" developed by Jack J Lesyk, Phd of Ohio Center of Sport Psychology.
Although I enjoy specializing with athletes, I enjoy and continue to work with non-athletes/clients with diverse clinical mental health issues, professionals who want to improve their professional performance or situation, parents, children, couples and familes.
