Karen Grayson
Licensed Professional Counselor, PhD, LPC
Do you want to live a more awake, peaceful, and self-led life? You can. If you seek to heal old wounds, find confidence, welcome growth and get on (or back on) a vibrant grounded path, come see me. I offer a combination of compassionate gentle listening and reflective clarifying dialogue. I love to facilitate deep inner work for healing and transformation. Our sessions will help you gain insight into your own unique internal and abundant wisdom. Together, we will discover what blocks your best self from showing up and we will find a way forward.
I am a Level 3 Trained IFS Therapist and typically use IFS in sessions with clients. IFS is one of the most powerful -- to me, almost magical -- modalities for therapy I have encountered. It is a well-respected and evidence-based approach to healing trauma and simply to learn how to live effectively from your best or highest self.
My clients are bright, spiritually curious, brave and honest. Some have a dedicated faith community; others don't. Christians, Buddhists, and those identifying as "Spiritual But Not Religous" feel at home in my office and in group workshops. Teachers I love include Pema Chodron, Parker Palmer, Eckhart Tolle, Ken Wilber, and Brene Brown.
