I am a NYS Licensed Clinical Psychologist, with extensive experience treating mental conditions including Anxiety, Depression, PTSD/Trauma, ADHD, Bipolar Disorder, Psychosis, Adjustment Disorder, and Symptoms related to Chronic Mental Health Illnesses. I was driven by a passion for understanding human behavior, and a Master's degree in psychology from Long Island University and a Doctoral degree from Hofstra University provided a strong foundation for my career. I am dedicated to creating a compassionate space where individuals can explore their mental health journeys with support and understanding.
I look forward to meeting each client where they are, emotionally and behaviorally. I utilize evidence-based treatment approaches to address a variety of issues, which include parenting, communication and values, grief and loss, trauma, anxiety, depression, and other mental health conditions that may impair functioning.
There are specific techniques I utilize to make it more effective and productive for my clients. I engage in active listening, which allows me to pay close attention to your words and nonverbal cues. I also reflect what you have said back to you to help you understand yourself better.
