Karen F Kerr, LCADC, LAC, CEAP, SAP, MAC, Drug & Alcohol Counselor in Northfield
Are you having difficulty and struggling in different areas of life? Have you hit a crossroads and you are unsure which direction to take? Are you wondering if your substance use might be part of the problem? I have over 20 years experience specializing in the treatment of individuals and families whose lives has been impacted by addiction. It is essential to build upon your current strengths while recognizing those issues that need to be addressed that can hinder recovery. I encourage the promotion of personal self-awareness and self-growth through healing and change for long-term recovery.
Each client is unique and not one size fits all. Recognizing negative thinking and behaviors through a therapeutic process that combines different approaches can help you achieve health and wholeness. As a result, you may find you no longer need to engage in addictive behaviors.
My approach incorporates cognitive behavioral, motivational interviewing and rational emotive behavioral therapies. I utilize different techniques and together we can determine which one will work best for you. Evening appointments are available.
