I specialize in creating a safe environment for my clients in order to empower personal and relational growth, healing, emotional wellness, goal achievement and development. While working with couples, an efficient platform is utilized, which focuses on restoring connection and trust while improving communication and problem solving. Family therapy is a unique opportunity to bring the entire family system together in order to cope with many different problems and situations. I will oftentimes engage children in the therapeutic process using a variety of creative interventions such as play, art and literature.
As an AAMFT approved supervisor, I provided over 9 years of supervision at Northwestern University. I also provide supervision and consultation to practicing therapists and supervisors in training. I earned my Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Syracuse University and am trained in several therapy models using an integrative approach.
